Distributed Model Predictive Control of Spatially Decoupled Systems Using Switched Cost Functions

چکیده
This note investigates the stabilization problem of a class of spatially decoupled systems by applying distributed model predictive control (DMPC) with switched cost functions. The proposed DMPC scheme switches the optimization index on a switching surface generated by control invariant sets. By applying the index-switching strategy, stability of the closed-loop system is ensured by the feasibility of a series of constrained optimal control problems. The stability conditions established in this note does not require terminal equality constraints of the optimization problem, and preserves the quadratic program property that is desired in practical applications. It is also observed that the proposed DMPC scheme has benefits dealing with systems that need to take into account safety-related spatial constraints.

Design of Observer-based H∞ Controller for Robust Stabilization of Networked Systems Using Switched Lyapunov Functions
In this paper, H∞ controller is synthesized for networked systems subject to random transmission delays with known upper bound and different occurrence probabilities in the both of feedback (sensor to controller) and forward (controller to actuator) channels. A remote observer is employed to improve the performance of the system by computing non-delayed estimates of the sates. The closed-loop s...
متن کاملA New Non-linear Control of the Four-Leg Inverter with Decoupled Model and Fast Dynamic Response for PV Generation Systems
Distributed generation (DG) will play an important role in future power generation systems, especially in stand-alone applications. Three phase four-leg inverter is a well-known topology which can be used as an interface power converter for DGs. Thanks to the fourth leg to provide the neutral path, the four-leg inverter is able to supply balanced loads as well as unbalanced loads. In this paper...
متن کاملCooperative control of dynamically decoupled systems via distributed model predictive control
In this paper, we propose a general framework for distributed model predictive control (DMPC) of discrete-time nonlinear systems with decoupled dynamics, but subject to coupled constraints and a common, cooperative task. In order to ensure recursive feasibility and convergence to the desired cooperative goal, the systems optimize a local cost function in a sequential order, while only neighbor-...

Laguerre function has many advantages such as good approximation capability for different systems, low computational complexity and the facility of on-line parameter identification. Therefore, it is widely adopted for complex industrial process control. In this work, Laguerre function based adaptive model predictive control algorithm (AMPC) was implemented to control continuous stirred tank rea...
متن کاملSwitched model predictive control for networked control systems with time delays
The switched model predictive control (MPC) strategy is investigated in this paper for a class of networked control systems (NCSs) with time delays and packet disordering. A new model is proposed to describe the NCS with packet disordering. State feedback controllers are considered and the resulting closed-loop NCS is modeled as a discrete-time switched system. By using the average dwell-time a...
